Secluded or what?

Okay you have to read two new posts - this one and the one below this. So make sure you read both.

Anyways, the point of writing this post is this. We've always dreamed of taking a trip someday to a remote island where we can just relax. However, most such islands have a million visitors who are there for exactly that purpose, thus defeating the very idea.

I think I have found the perfect island. By the way, this is no joke. You can check out via Google etc. because this island is going to sound too good to be true, but it really exists and is a former British colony...just like Australia.
The official government website provides details about the island and here's that link....see it to believe it.

It sounds like the kind of place you could launch your own reality show with...

True...the island has about 50 people, the most recent birth was in 2003 and that one was after 17 years!! What say to that..??

One friend in office rightly commented that if there are only 50 people marooned on an island like that you'd think there's a whole lot of sex going on....

You would probably get sick of sleeping with those 50 people all the time...and imagine the consequences...can you go to the grocer or to the laundromat and hold a normal conversation if you knew he was screwing around with your wife/husband? Kids would probably end up totally messed up too......
Well, it would definitely make a great theme for an extended reality show

Wow. Not my idea of a vacation. For something that is still fairly secluded, but also has modern conviencances, you may be inclined to visit one of the non-touristy islands in the Bahamas. Such as Cat or Harbour islands, both are beautiful. I stayed on Harbour island for about a week, it has one grocery store, a couple of small restaurants, a couple of bars. No big hotels or resorts.
